Ayurveda? it would be like defining the infinite with a limited thought or a word… ©Susanna Iris Folli.

Vedic Spiritual knowledge, the older tradition behind the later religions of India, gave the basis to the Medical aspect of the Spiritual Science – Vedic Science, called AYURVEDA: ”VEDA” – the knowledge, wisdom, or spiritual science of “AYUR” – AYUH – longevity, Life in a dynamic evolution, the power behind, being: PRANA. PRANA is not just the Life Force, to understand this better one needs to study The Samkhya Philosophy of Creation – in accordance with Classical Ayurveda.

Ayurveda is considered one of the leading forms of holistic medicine available in the West; probably, the oldest authentically recorded healing science in existence, today in the Planet.

The principles of Ayurveda state that everything you interact with: your environment, diet, family, work and relationships, has an effect on your health and well being, nothing exists in isolation. Ayurveda dealing with Body , Mind and Spirit teaches us that what affects the body affects the mind and the spirit, vice versa. Ayurveda positively influences all aspects of life by using enlightened methods of food preparation choices, and by establishing daily and seasonal regimes which bring stability to the body, mind, spirit.
The Ayurvedic approach to health and Longevity is through the use of Natural substances , foods, methods that are in harmony with our biological rhythm and constitution.

Ayurveda looks at every person as a unique individual

It seeks to understand and to correct imbalances and to restore the innate intelligence and harmony of the person. It is interested in the individual because it recognises the uniqueness of each being.

A Vaydia – Ayurveda Doctor – will be interested in the development of your Mind, Spirit as in the Healing of the Body, the three are interrelated and not approached separately.
If an Ayurveda Consultation has not taken into consideration the three aspects
Keep your search for a Vaydia, because it means that the Practitioner ( that describes himself or herself Ayurveda) is using western methods, non holistic, merely a reproduction of his cultural mental frame, but this is Not AYURVEDA. If he /she merely prescribes herbs or some treatments without taking into account spirit, mind, this is Not AYURVEDA!...

Ayurveda addresses the root cause of the disease and teaches us to be responsible of our health. It is the Natural Healing power of your own being that is called to your awareness. Manifestations of disease are messengers of the root cause, they are not suppressed but observed.

Ayurveda Therapies will address the Root cause not the symptoms

Lifestyle, Nutrition, Ayurveda Massage, Herbology, Sound Therapies, Colour therapies, Aromatherapy, Marma Point Therapies, Gem Therapies, Panchakarma, Surgery, Mind Healing Practices, Spiritual Practice, Yoga and many others are all part of the Ayurveda Vision of healing therapies, so that we can reunite, in balance with the higher consciousness–our Divine Source, our true home, our Divine Mother.

The vision of Life according to Ayurveda is described as the harmony of the Higher Self (Atman), Mind (Manas), Prana, Senses and Body.
Life intended not merely as the physical aspect of life, but all aspects of our being, in a dynamic evolution.

The practical side of the Vedic Science or Yogic Science is called YOGA

Ayurveda is very simple, it is in the simplicity that we find the benefit, like Nature is very simple, yet profound , deep.
